Allison Schulte, PTA, MFA is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with a Master’s degree from Cal Arts where she focused on the body in performance. Her 25 years of studying and teaching bellydance sparked her interest in pelvic health and a decision to study physical therapy. Additionally, she has been certified through multiple continuing education courses in pelvic floor, restorative yoga and breathwork, as well as Pilates Method Alliance.

Allison loves working one on one with people to identify specific physical therapy tools that will help them move and feel their best. She understands every person is unique, and is able to assist in a variety of goals, not just within the scope of pelvic health.

Before becoming a PTA, Allison spent 2 decades serving LGBTQAI+ communities as an outreach specialist, archivist, and curator. She has received numerous grants and scholarships for her work with queer and sex positive institutions including Tom of Finland Foundation - Los Angeles CA, the Alfred Kinsey Institute for research in Sex Gender and Reproduction-Bloomingtion Indiana, and The Leather Archives & Museum - Chicago, Illinois. She continues to have passion for serving these communities within the realm of Physical Therapy through offering trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and sex-positive care.

She also loves camping, hiking, art, libraries, world travel, and all cats!
